So easily entertained!!

Sitting here at my desk, supposedly working on a few things that really do need to get done, and just realized I've spent much of the last half hour playing with the Ragdoll kittens. They've gotten big enough to be able to climb up the wicker bookcase next to the desk and then hop on over here and attack typing fingers or walk on the keyboard. Just so darned cute. "Peaches", the little flame point, is the more curious of the two while "Tortie", the seal point tortie (yeah, OK, not original but also not their permanent names!) is busy checking out the blinking LED lights on the satellite hookup. They are a riot and I'm not getting much done and soon it will be time for feeding/chores and nothing will still be done. But I am having fun. Is there anything as funny as a curious pair of kittens?

I used to be a people watcher...would go out to the Mall...the parks...and the main attraction was to watch people. I am a (failed) artist, so found a great deal of fodder for my art projects/sketchbook.

Nowadays, such stuff is frowned on due to sexual predators and such like.

So I have my eight kitties to watch. None are kittens...but the action gets just as fast and furious when the xtoms begin playing tag, or one of the females does the 'crazy around the room' thing. We have one who opens every drawer in our bedroom dressers, two who believe the higher up they can get the better. Then there are the 'floor show' queens, who lay on the carpet at one's feet and s-t-r-e-t-c-h out, rolling and calling for attention.

Cats are just fun.

Yeah...I live in a mobile home with linoleum flooring....and when the rescued Siamese and the two grown Rags (mom and dad) and the two kittens left get to running through here it sounds like a thundering herd of elephants.....and occasionally they ALL decide that running OVER my head while I'm just falling to sleep is so much fun they can't resist.
