Merry Acres Farm Fun show - the perfect LL eventer schooling show
I hope this isn't a naughty thing to do, but I had to talk up our show on this forum -- it is also posted in events.
The Merry Acres Farm Fun Show is, IMHO, the PERFECT schooling / tuneup for fall eventing at the lower levels (as in, below N). We offer dressage, stadium, and XC classes that you sign up for SEPARATELY, so you / your students can work at whatever levels suit them in each discipline. We have Peggy Pariso, 'R' judge, for dressage, so your tests will get a professional eye. Classes are CHEAP - $20 for dressage & stadium, $25 for XC. Where can you school XC for $25? Our XC isn't just a big flat field w/ a few logs in it -- it's a nice windy, hilly trail that borders fields, goes through woods, has natural water crossings, and gives riders a uniquely 'real course' experience while keeping the fences totally manageable -- the XC is 18"-2" for the easier course, and 2'3" or so for the BN-ish course. It's also great for your green horses! Ribbons to 8th place.
This show is a fundraiser for a charity called Marathon of Miracles (501(c)3) which supports breast cancer survivors, and also includes a silent auction, including some great horsey items. So get out your silly pink bell boots and saddle pads (you know you have some!) and sign up already! Entries close this weekend, but I think they will still take them early next week, and classes can be added on day of show for $5.00 extra per class.
Accepting entries through 9/9/2009 Wednesday
Still time to sign up if your entry is in before Wednesday.
