Now have the llama song STUCK in my head I will sing it merrily as I clean stalls today. If I wear it with the Tee Shirt will I have to move to Florida?
867 is happy to be the background muzak to the viewing audience on this continuing stoooooory............
this cannot be over!!!! what am i going to do with my time now??? i don't have the skill or the patience for dot line art
We are all waiting for any one or all of the following to occur:
1. Check doesn't arrive
2. Check is in wrong amount
3. Check bounces
4. Horse appears for sale at quadruple the price with clear x-rays
Am I missing any of the scenarios we have been tossing around?
The funny thing is my source in Florida heard the trainer of the new owner saying they bought the horse for $20,000.00 and it is the kids new Marshall & Sterling horse. Isn't it funny how people want to give the impression they have a $20,000 horse when they paid less than $10,000 (I cant give away the price) for it.
the check will be drawn / written by Thang 2 for the original owners price
what new owner paid Thang 2 well perhaps it is 20000
I think #4 on LCW's list has the highest probability.
This is a) a soap opera or b) a Lifetime Original movie....
I always thought that arthritic changes in the pasterns was called ... ringbone? Is that another way of saying calcification?
I like EponaRoan's title: Games Trainers Play. Perfect.
I've been referring to ECG's friend as "heroine/victim" (in the horror movie genre), but I also liked someone's calling her "spineless" (might be a tad cruel, but hey)
and I'm having a hard time dealing with Donkeyman's report that Thing 2 is spreading $20,000/M&S horse around. Geeeeez
P.S. Part of Super Donkeyman's costume should be EARS! Nice long ones
I am in the camp that wonders how the vetting was magically moved ahead by several days after much demanding that they needed more time for it, significant problems were found that supposedly will render the horse useless for their purposes in a couple of years, and yet they still want him (for a lesser price of course). Yeah, riiiiiiiiiight.
I actually dropped the price of a nice hunter gelding by 1/3 after the PPE showed serious changes in his hocks. Just months later I found him on equine.com at double the price and advertised with "clean x rays". I have always wondered if the clean ones were someone elses or the ones with changes were someone elses.
I guess the moral of the story is--before you sell that horse have your own PPE done complete with radiographs so when the potential buyer says there's a problem you have a set of radiographs to compare against their radiographs.... ;) I didn't realize how much of a problem that could become and how much you could get knocked off of the purchase price (whether they're the right x-rays or not!!! ).... There's always someone out there with an angle.... :uhoh:
any news?? Donkeyman,,,, have you heard any more spy stuff?? I did not get the job,, so I need a double and some queso,,,,,,, ohhh just the double.........
