Exactly so.

You probably saw her vulva which is so relaxed that it is gaping open and is almost turned inside out. She has been dripping strings of mucous for 24 hours.

Thanks, y'all! This colt is huge! Reno usually has tiny foals. He is really tall, very aggressive, started wanting to stand before his head was out :lol: . He popped right up in less than 20 minutes and is already trying to nurse. He is very, very dark bay with 3 socks and a cool broken blaze. I think he is going to be really stunning. Go LANDWERDER!!!

The coolest thing by far is that he's standing, wobbling about, while mama sleeps...even right now at 7:11 my time. Usually it's the other way around and I have to wait until later in the evening to get a good look at the baby. Guess you are gonna have your hands full with this one-Mr. Independent! :winkgrin:

Congrats, SJ! I was hoping to have a moment this morning to see the little guy again, but had to wait 'till now. Am REALLY glad the lightning strike on the empty lot next to my house (while I was getting my son out of his car seat, scared the bejesus out of me!!!) didn't kill my internet so I can see him now!

My plan from last night worked, and I'm exhausted about now. Hope to sleep alright tonight since I have to be up and on the road at the crack of dawn :rolleyes:
