I noticed with the new format that the right side column of posts are getting cut off and I cannot view them without scrolling over. Any idea how to fix this?
Thanks

Worse than that, I have no horizontal scrollbar, so I can't scroll over!!
This only started happening for me today though, not before that.

Yeah I am confused as to what happened between yesterday and today, now my forum takes up only 2/3 screen and the right side is blank.

Erin posted earlier today that the IT people are making some modifications to the website today. They are aware that there are some glitches with the layout, and are working to fix them.
We'll just have to be patient, as we have been for all of the previous website updates.

You can go to the bottom of your screen (at least in Explorer) there is a box with a magnifing icon that has 100% beside it. You can modify it to be 95%. That let me see the entire column for the posts.

thanks OneonOne, I missed that!

Well, I hope that doesn't mean the web designers are reading this thread and thinking "problem solved". Problem NOT solved until the new layout is Firefox compatible.

Nope, we have to have a working scroll bar.

I just came on today and on the right is just a grey space with an ad at the top. Very strange.

Your're right War Admiral, I commented incorrectly above. I do not have a scrollbar either. Too much Benadryl when I first typed..:o

It seems as if the ads will be appearing down the right hand margin of the screen, thus the forum justified left. I minimize the page so to not see them. Distracting, to say the least.

I have the forum on about 1/2 the page (on the left) then a column with ads... and then an even larger column which is blank on the far right. I use a Mac so maybe that is the problem? I understand the addition of the ads, but squishing the forum into half the vertical space makes it very hard to read posts. Hope that is changed once they work the bugs out.

I have the same thing as Lucassb -- is that intentional or something that will be worked out? --Jess

They've changed it this afternoon, it seems. I've now got the same as what y'all have got.
And yes it does appear that they will be running ads down the right side.

I think they just resized the page so they can fill it up with ads on the right. Not real pleasing to the eye..

On my Mac (using Firefox), it's not quite half the page - seems like 3/4 of the page is the Forum and then the 1/4 on the right is going to be advertisements. Yuck...

You can eliminate seeing the ads on the right side by pulling your right hand page margin in.

I have about 1/4 of the site as a light blue stripe with an ad on top with Explorer. How can I eliminate this 1/4 page lost and have the full forum page???

I have the same "three column" set up essentially. Justified left posts, then a blueish-grey box o' ads, and then blank space.
I hate to be a squeaky wheel or critical... but this new scrunched format to the messages I can hardly look at. It gives me immediate headaches. For some reason it really hurts the eyes.
I don't have a problem with having ads running down the length, but I think the message area has been overly-compromised.

I have the scroll bar now and maximized my screen so I can see the complete posts, and it also cuts the ads off.
