I've been cleaning out the closets, and discovered a few new or nearly new items that I figure I should let go to help pay the bills. Prices do not include shipping. PayPal preferred, money orders or cashier's checks accepted. Please e-mail andalucian@aol.com for more information.

Brand New Elite (by Grand Prix) Field Boots - Size 7.5

Regretfully offering for sale a pair of brand new field boots by Elite. These are the non-zip versions, no longer made and very hard to find. They're cuff lined and made of incredibly soft, beautiful leather. Box measurements are size 7.5, 14.5" calf, 18.5" height - however, calf measures closer to 14.75" and height from top of boot along back shaft to floor is 19.5" (I'm guessing the 18.5' measurement was not including the heel). These are still in the box - I tried on one, and the other was never even removed from the box. Unfortunately, I'm an 8, and these are just a bit too snug in the foot to be comfortable for me. These are really nice boots, and after several bad experiences with Ariats, I was really hoping they'd work. My loss is your gain! I bought these on closeout and can't return them. Box still has $270 closeout price tag, marked down from $380 retail; I'm asking $150 plus shipping. Can be seen at this link if you need more information: Field Boots (http://www.tackroominc.com/the-elite-field-boot-p-4088.html?osCsid=6727758bb6af4f11fb31f269b50f049f) Also check out the numerous threads about these boots on this forum.

Kerrits Schoeller Knee Patch Breeches - Petro, Size Large (Approx. 30R)

Absolutely gorgeous, I just have way too many breeches. I bought them from this link quite some time ago: Kerrits Breeches (http://www.vtosaddlery.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=VTO&Product_Code=KSKPB&Category_Code=BRCH) These are the color of the pair pictured in the front, but are the knee patch style rather than full seats. A bit small for a large; probably comparable to a size 30R or so. Worn once to teach lessons - they've never even been on a horse. Suggested retail was $135; they're on closeout at VTO for $49.95 (though this color isn't even offered anymore). I'm asking $25 plus shipping.

Reed Hill Stretch Cotton Jods - Beige, Size 28R

Incredibly soft and comfortable. These are wrinkled from being in the closet so long, but they've never been worn. I bought several pairs of these in different colors and just never got around to wearing this pair. These are wonderful for warm weather, particularly if you like to school in paddock boots instead of tall boots or half chaps. Information and photos of this particular style can be seen here: Reed Hill Jods (https://www.showstoppertack.com/Display.asp?ID=3748) On sale at that site for $52.50; I'm asking $25.

New Brown Comfort Crown Bridle with Reins

No, it's not rider apparel, but no sense in taking out two ads. I purchased this bridle on eBay from Shadowfax Saddlery. Features a padded and contoured crownpiece, padded browband (a bit longer than usual to prevent pinching of the ears), generously padded crank flash noseband, stainless steel buckle fittings, and rubber grip reins. This is one of the comfort bridles where the noseband hanger goes over the crown to minimize pressure on the horse's poll. This is cob size in their "Antique" color, which is really something of an oakbark (not quite as light as the "New Tan" pictured on the listing, but not the havana color indicated, either - I imagine it would darken with oil). I purchased the bridle from the following listing: Comfort Bridle (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=013&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=&item=230027212545&rd=1&rd)

Unfortunately, it doesn't fit the mare I purchased it for. So you can avoid the same problem, I've supplied the following measurements:
Browband: 16"
Headstall (between crown splits): 14"
Headstall (end of one cheekpiece to end of the other on top holes): 35"
Headstall (end of one cheekpiece to end of the other on bottom holes): 44"
Cheek pieces: 10"
Noseband: 1.5" wide, 13" between hanging straps (due to the crank, actual circumference would be pretty adjustable)
Reins: 58" each (a bit longer than standard)

Just a note... This is not a particularly nice quality bridle. It's safe and functional, but not top quality. I believe it's Indian leather. No one will mistake it for an Elevator or a Vespucci. However, it would be a great schooling bridle, an inexpensive way to find out how your horse would respond to a comfort bridle before shelling out money for something expensive, or it could function as a spare for trail rides. $25 plus shipping takes it.

Thanks for looking!
