Boolean search?

Anyone know why adding "AND" to your search still makes it search as "OR"?

For example, if I type in "pony trot" in the search box, the search results page comes up with 500+ matches with "pony OR trot" at the top. If I type in "pony AND trot," technically it should only show pages that have both terms... but I'm still getting the same results page with "pony OR trot" at the top... :confused: :confused:

In the past, the search function has been wonky and unreliable at best. I haven't tested it recently, so I'll take your word for it. I think last time it stopped working the tech people fixed it relatively quickly.

I think I figured it out. If you use the advanced search, it throws in the "OR," where as if you use the regular "Search forums" dropdown at the top of every forum, it omits the "OR."
