My car died at 11pm Christmas night. Two days, $850 and 50 miles later it died again, (in spectacular fashion, late at night and stranding me and my very worried young blue dog) and making Christmas a six day ordeal and adding a nasty end to a year that saw way too many vet bills. I'm probably looking at (at best) replacing the head gasket or (at worst) a cracked block. So I need cash (and automotive jingles!) and have cleaned out the tackroom for your post-holiday shopping pleasure!

Free shipping if you buy $75 worth of stuff or more!

Otherwise, email me (rooanddogs (AT) y a h o o (dot) com ), what you want and your ZIP code and I'll try to figure out a total with shipping and delivery confirmation for you.

Paypal is best! I need money *fast* to get my car back (or to put towards another car). I might be pursuaded to take a money order or a check under the right circumstances, but pleasepleaseplease, Paypal would be preferred.

Email (rooanddogs (AT) y a h o o (dot) com ) is probably better than private messages.

Miracle Collar (http://www.doversaddlery.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_X1%2D1727&ss=miracle%20collar) (to stop cribbing). New with tags. Brown. $40

Poly Pad Shaped Dressage pad (http://www.bitofbritain.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=0164), new (washed to remove dust, never been on a horse), black $45

Poly Pad Shaped Dressage pad (http://www.bitofbritain.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=0164), new (washed to remove dust, never been on a horse), brown $45

Cashel pad (http://dressageextensions.com/ProductDetail.asp?KEY=2560). Black ¾” flat (no wedge) to fit 17.5” and up dressage saddles. Used only a few times and never directly against a horse, but it’s been sitting around so it shows some tackroom wear. $15

Kieffer dropped noseband, black, made in Germany. Horse size. Has connectors from noseband to ends of headpiece so noseband doesn’t distort and droop. Brand new, never been on a horse. $35

Korsteel flexible stirrups. Have black rubber sides and pads (look like Sprengers). Stainless steel. 4.25” actual measurement between the rubber things. Used. $20

Stübben Fillis Irons (http://www.doversaddlery.com/product.asp?pn=X1%2D0703&ss=fillis) 4.75”. Used, but brand new black pads. $25

Serengeti polo wraps. Brand new in package with tags. Royal blue with subtle, tasteful (no, really) glitter effect. $10

Bit of Britain flash attachmen (http://www.bitofbritain.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=0073)t Horse size, Havana, stainless hardware. Brand new with tags. Nice design (snugs flash right up to noseband, unlike the long buckle attachment thingies, and you can take it off when you don’t need it without having that distracting little tag thing). Made in USA. $20

Bit of Britain / Nunn Finer Kineton noseband (http://www.bitofbritain.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=0467) An extremely effective device for horses that pull. The stainless steel loops fit under the bit with the adjustable nosepiece going over the nose. Pulling creates a downward pull on the horse's nose. Havana. Made in USA. $50

Beval(?) figure-8 noseband. Looks a lot like this one (http://www.doversaddlery.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_X1%2D0806&ss=figure%208). This was sold to me as a Beval noseband, but I’m not all that familiar with the brand (and Beval has really unhelpful customer service…) so don’t know for sure. Really nice leather, raised, some padding, contrast stitching, nice stainless steel hardware, natural sheepskin fleece padding under the disk thing on the nose. The only marking on it is an “F” at the end of the crownpiece. There is one little place on the nosedisk that should have a stitch put in. Lovely noseband (Beval or not). Looks a lot like this one $50

Cavesson with flash noseband. Havana. Used. For horse with finer head. No maker, probably Indian (but not awful. Used. $10

Bridle, TB sized. Brown, French cavesson. Very used. Probably Indian made. $15

Flat brown hunting noseband. ¾” Used. $15

Courbette browband, black, raised, padded. About 16” Bottom one here (http://www.courbette.com/Catalog/accessories/browbands.html). Lightly used. $15

Bit of Britain / Nunn Finer / Eventa reins (http://www.bitofbritain.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=0084)
Havana, buckle ends. These are not your pimple-grip rubber reins. These are comfy, supple, grippy, and you might find you don’t need gloves. Totally addictive! Lightly used. $75

Sabre made in England (gorgeous quality) flash replacement strap. Brand new, 5/8” Dark brown. $10

Stübben dressage reins. Black web with stops. Hook stud ends. Brand new, never been on a horse. $40

Stübben plain reins. Chocolate brown. Martingale stops, hook stud ends. Lightly used. $40

Reins. Gorgeous. I can’t remember the name (Jerry’s? Bobby’S KL Select? . Black leather with brown stops and brass hardware. Best quality, English leather (can’t remember if made in England or here). Paid $130 new (they made sense as I was switching between black tack and brown and bridged the gap nicely ? ). Particularly spiffy-looking on dark horses. Really gorgeous piece of tack. Used for about a month. Look new. $60

Bit of Britain / Nunn Finer nylon center stirrup leathers. (http://www.bitofbritain.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=0142B 1”x60”.) Lightly used. Havana. Best stirrup leathers ever! Never stretch, roller buckles (so easy to adjust), made in US, Lightly used. $40

Courbette Leathers (http://www.doversaddlery.com/product.asp?pn=X1-0610), lightly used, 63” made in Germany. Berber brown. $40

Stübben leathers. 58” These look ike they may have been ridden in once. I think they are water buffalo leather, as they are a bit thicker and more textured then the regular Stübben leathers, and are tannish brown color. And I got them from an eventer (waterbuffalo is pretty break-resistant, and good if you’re going to be getting your leathers wet in the water complex and such.) In any case, triple-stitched, pre stretched, stainless steel buckles. $50

Custom stirrup leathers by Gary Mundy. These were custom made to match an old Stübben Siegfried Havana brown saddle that really did have the same color as a fine cigar. 63” but there are 21 holes (each an inch apart) that make these super adjustable (most leathers have 12 holes or so). American made of “English” processed American hides. Like buttah! Ridden in twice. $40

Crosby stirrup leathers, 57” made in England. I think these are black or a very very very dark brown. Well used, but good condition, not stretched out or anything. Lots of life left. $30

Big D black nylon shipping halter. Rolled throat (no snap), brass hardware. Brand new. $10

English bridle leather lead shank. 70” with 30” brass chain. Super quality. Triple stitched, nylon web-reinforced end. Never used, as I haven’t needed a chain for anyone, but periodically cleaned because it was hanging around awaiting use. Lol I thought it was bit of Britain, but don’t see a stamp. $25

Leather lead shank 80” with 20” brass chain. Not as nice as the other one. same condition, but someone nibbled on the end. $15

Braided synthetic Eskadron lead shank. Brass bull snap. Made in Germany. Royal blue, navy blue and brown. New with tags. I have had one of these for four years that lives out on a fencepost in Vermont weather 24/7 and it still looks new. Best lead rope ever! $10

Wintec girth 50” (http://www.bitofbritain.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=0189) (actual measurement) Dark brown stainless steel roller buckles. Used <5 times. $25

Wintec shaped/chafeless girth 48” (http://www.bitofbritain.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=0193) dark brown has keepers for overgirth. Used twice. Stainless steel roller buckles. $25

Stübben trevira dressage girth. 28”/70cm White. Used once (too big). $20

Dressage girth 27” (actual measurement) Nylon web over cotton blend underside. Sturdy, lightly used, plenty of keepers even for a flap girth. $10

Split-end leather contour girth. Marked 40” actual measurement 43”. Brown. Split with double elastic at one end. Older, very used, elastic shows wear. $15

Please email me with any questions, as I won't be able to do returns (unless I super mess up a measurement or something).

Thanks so much!
