And in honor of the occasion, we've got tons of trailers and an awesome prequel to watch on Youtube: http://tinyurl.com/bp5qpk7

Here's a direct link to the prequel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2IROtC6cAT4 Watch before watching the show tonight. It's part of the story line and NOT a spoiler. Trailers aren't spoilers, either. Nor is casting news like this:

On November 23rd, the Doctor's greatest secret is in jeopardy. Time is running out for the Doctor & Clara because the prophecy warns that on the Fields of Trenzalore the First Question will be asked and it should never EVER be answered.

The Eleventh has fallen, Trenzalore is waiting, the question will be asked and silence will fall.

The Tenth Doctor and Rose Tyler are CONFIRMED for the 50th Anniversary. Official storyline and further detail are yet to be announced.

DD will be in Heaven - as long as there is streaming video somewhere - any ideas on that?

Why yes: http://www.watch-tvseries.net/series58/DOCTOR-WHO/

Keep checking for the newest upload :)

I found the greatest clip on youtube, called "Demons Run 2 Days Later." It was the story of how Strax, Vastra and Jenny came to be roommates. Unfortunately the BBC blocked it on copyright violations before I could share it here.

For those who can't get enough Doctor, try the written fiction: http://www.drwhoguide.com/books.htm#TELOS

Oh, Bey, you are my BFF. I have been in a slump since I caught up with the Dr and can't watch a new one whenever I want. Has there been any new ones since the snowmen? I'm so used to watching it on Netflix I don't even know if it's on TV.

I posted with you in mind :D

This is the first TV episode since Christmas, however, there is the one prequel episode on Youtube that I linked above, plus some trailers. Since I have no cable, I only know of these things through various Facebook groups (some DW fan groups, Anglophenia, BBC...)

Oh. thank you. :) I have been sick for a MONTH with this damn flu/whatever, and then I think I got a cold and massive allergies on top of it, so I need some happy time.

Why aren't they making new episodes? Don't they keep making them, or is winter time off? I do have minimal cable, but nowadays we can get most anything through the interent, eh?

The first new episode of Doctor Who Season 7 Part 2 airs tonight at 8:00 on BBC America. I think there will be 4 new episodes to complete the "season." Then we have to wait again for Season 8, next autumn I think. But it sounds like we can look forward to something special for 50th year anniversary!

Steven Moffat's Doctor Who episode guide: The Rings of Akhaten

Saturday 6 April: "When Clara Oswald looks back on her time in the Tardis, this might be the place she remembers..."

If Moffat writes/says it, it's not a spoiler.

Doctor Who: The Bells of Saint John review: "Steven Moffat at his confident, playful best"

A hugely entertaining introduction to Impossible Girl, Clara, that poses more questions than it answers...

233 – "The Rings of Akhaten"
234 – "Cold War"
235 – "Hide"
236 – "Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS"
237 – "The Crimson Horror" It will be the one hundredth episode broadcast since the series was revived in 2005.
238 – "Nightmare in Silver"

Wiki has some "TV-guide-like" plot info but spoilerphobes should avoid the page for the Bells of St. John (today's episode) because the full plot has already been updated.

I've got popcorn and bourbon. I'm all set for a Dr. Who special episode or a COTH trainwreck.

I pick the Dr. Who special!

What kind of bourbon? I have some Buffalo Trace that I've been saving for tonight.

I forgot to get Jammie Dodgers from Wegmans. I'll pick them up for next week's show :D

I'm glad he has a new companion. Didn't care for Amy Pond much.

No new episodes since Christmas and our satellite dish went out three days ago, just in time for the new episode. SOOOO irritated. Asked my brother to tape it for me last night, so hopefully I'll get to watch it today. Now I'm off to watch the prequel linked to above - thanks for that!!

I don't know where it was on. I couldn't find it on any tv here.

It hasn't been uploaded to TVSeries.net yet. I don't know how long it takes, but they've got everything from Rose up through The Snowmen.

To watch on TV, you need BBC America.

I think there are some sites where you can stream live IF you have an IP address from the UK, which is entirely possible to get if you know how or are willing to figure out how.
