I have been trying to figure out how to set up individual notifications. Somewhere along the line "Thread Tools" is mentioned. Where is this function?

When I am in the thread (not replying) on the right hand side just above a thread reply is a link that says, "thread tools." I don't see it when I am typing a reply though.

I found the "Thread Tools" after I posted but it doesn't seem to address notifications. Have you found anything out Boston Chicken?
Oh, and how often do we have to log in a day?

I may not be understanding you correctly but when I hit "thread tools" it gives me the option of subscribing to a thread, which then sends me notifications of new replies. A couple notes though:
- I have not found a way to susbcribe/get notifications on individual posters
- When you subscribe to a thread to get notifications, I believe it only sends you a couple notifications and then you have to visit the forums again to get more replies. It won't automatically keep sending them to you.
I could be wrong, but this is what I have found. Hope this helps :)
Oh - and as for logging in, it keeps me logged in. I haven't had a problem with that.

.
If you put them on your buddy list, will that subscribe individual posters?

I don't think so. At least not with mine.

You might not get this ;) But I don't think this BB has that functionality. I have looked high and low and don't think I have missed it.

That feature is not part of this board. You can't just pick certain people to subscribe to.

I don't think you can subscribe to an individual... but if you want to see all of someone's posts you can go to the member list and view their profile... under their name is an option to "Find all posts by"
That option is also available in a drop down menu if you click on the person's name in any post they made on the board.

That is correct. You can only subscribe to threads. You can specify if you want an email or just notification in the user cp only.... you have to click there to find them without the email notify. Its not going to pop up at you.
