Hey guys,

I will be moving to Barnesville/Dickerson, MD area in the next 4-5 weeks and wanted to know if there are any Western Pleasure trainers around this area. Does any one have suggestions on where to go? I can't seem to find many options.

Thanks!

Check out Maryland western horseman association and maybe go watch the warmup arena to see if there are any trainers that meet your liking and then approach them.

I can't suggest any, but you might want to provide more information. Are you thinking of a person with a quarter horse, paint, appaloosa style, or a person who rides Arabians, Morgans, that type of horse western?

Checking the breed association web sites is a place to start, as many of them have a contact list of the state clubs, and most of the club officers would know of trainers in their area.

Good luck!

Suzette Bizzaro in Barnesville may be able to point you in the right direction. My good friend sent her daughter to Suzette to learn to ride.

Also many folks use either David Beard (The Sevens Ranch) or Scott Purdum (Advantage Horsemanship)
