That's Seven standing in the first shot and lying down in the second.

I'm so happy the barn owners were able to get pictures!

Cute!!! My friends imported fancy lived his whole life in an indoor dressage horse went trail riding with us yesterday... took him 20 minutes to cross each creek, but... he saw the lake and.... barged right in and took her swimming. She was submerged up to her armpits. Hee hee....

Your guy looks like he's having a blast!!! that's so awesome :)

Very cute!

But I take my mare swimming in the river and she loves it but she still got all weird at the water jump :(

Shhhhhhhh. Don't tell me that. Let me live in ignorant bliss for a little while longer

(She's only two, and unstarted, so it will be awhile before I have to face the real question of riding her into water!)

If she likes lying down in the water, you may want to be ready to keep kicking!

Years ago, one summer, I worked as a wrangler in the Catskills, taking out trail rides. There was a fat old App who loved to lie down in the pond as we passed through. We would have to be sure to stay close to him as we did the water crossing and scream to the poor tourists sitting on him to kick, kick, kick. You could just see old Puzzles smiling as his front knees would start to buckle on a hot day :).
