View Full Version : Show standard dimensions question

We usually build and offer for sale schooling standards.
We recently have been asked to build some wing standards
for a customer. In order to supply correct wing standards,
we need to know dimensions. How much taller than the
riders are going to jump should standards be? How wide
should the wings extend? Should the wing be taller than
the part of the standard where the cup is attached (my
builder thinks yes) and, if so, how much taller? In general,
could you please direct me to a location giving required
dimensions so we build what our clients should have.

I would contact a company that supplies jumps to the big shows to get there sizing info.

I have see jump standards from 4' right up 7' most are 6' high and the wing part is 3' wide. Places like Spruce there jump standards for the national ring are 7' high. they make there own jumps though.
