I'm trying to trace back the lineage/parentage of my dearly departed horse. I have his papers, but it doesn't go back any farther than his "grandparents." He was a quarter horse race horse, but could he be listed under AQHA? Any one know where I can try to look him up?

His name was Cherokee Split, date of birth 04/08/77 *I think it was the 8th of April.

I'll try looking a bit on my own, but any assistance is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

P.S.Okay, my boy isn't in there, but his dam, Little Fancy Leo, and his sire, Cherokee Arrow, are both in there. That's good enough for me. I guess, ah, never mind? :)

You should be able to find it at allbreedpedigree.com (if you haven't tried there already).

It's a great website. I traced the top line of one of my horses back to 1698. LOL That was cool.
