Since people seemed to enjoy the first link to seeing a "Big" guy compete at Prelim, thought I would share this recent X-country. This is the Irish Draught Stallion (RID) Bridon Beale Street. He finished 3rd here. May also recognize rider Joe who appeared on Full Metal Jousting.

Lovely!!!!! He is gorgeous!!!

I've got a yearling ISH/Appy cross that I'm hoping will eat up XC too :)

Love this guy  Sound, handsome, athletic, quality jump (can't say this one will hang a knee!), forward-thinking...what's not to like?! Always looks so eager to please.

Makes me wish I had bred my young mare

I see this stallion compete regularly and he is top quality - both in character and athleticism! I also tried one of his babies out of a TB mare and she was just lovely. Would definitely recommend him for anyone looking to breed an Irish sport horse.

Every video I see of this guy makes me rethink my anti-mare bias, because i want, want, WANT a baby off of him!

So, I paused the video at 4:12, and I'm just sitting here drooling. Wow, if I could afford a baby, my mare would be in foal to him next season! What a lovely guy!

I hope I don't owe you a new computer if you drooled all over it ;) I am a little biased as he is a half-brother to a mare I own and is by the same sire as another mare of mine - so basically a combination of my 2 favorite mares :)

Anyone have some of his youngstock? Think I'm taking my TB to him next spring

The big boy really can move! It was quite impressive in person. These were my favorite of my pics from the weekend: http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/408550_10152118624060603_1728309787_n.jpg and http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/408550_10152118624075603_26742574_n.jpg

I've got a youngster by him who is turning into a great horse. They all have that great Irish attitude.
