Seriously though, I think that the reason it may seem like no one is responding to your posts, is either because someone is still composing their response while you post yours, and therefore they don't see it until afterwards in which case its too late, or, if the topic is popular etc, everyone is so eager to give their own opinion, that they just post quickly what they want to say on the original topic, without going into subtopics that have come up along the way.

Yep, I feel that way too. I mean not really like a LOSER per se, but just that nobody gives a D*mn what I post, so poor me goes through withdrawal before posting again. It gets really hard when people say that they went to Devon or Upperville or that they have a really awesome hunter/jumper or a few and I am sitting here thinking, "Well hey, at least I have a lease on a horse that can't jump higher then 2'6" becuase of lameness problems, but my trainer says we are ready for an A show, that's going to happen in four days." It just seems like my life and my horse pales next to everyone else's. But, you know what? Enough is enough! I am going to that A show on Thursday and I am going to go get some ribbions and some glory of my own, d*#@mit! So, there!:)

Until this year I had a horse that could only do 2'9" and under due to soundness issues and I did A shows with him, he was 4th in the Pre-Childrens in Raliegh two years ago! Good Luck and have fun! I think the secret lies in not WHAT you post but how OFTEN you post. I've also noticed that if you post directly to other members and to comments they've made, they'll remember you.

hey, this is my 1st post and i have never killed anything, so im gonna try, hehe

but my trainer said i should ask where to buy a 'neck-cruncher' for my new eq horse. he is a scottish/slovenian/ukrainian/belarussian/algolan/ zambian wb or sumthin and we just got him imported from europe or somewhere like that. he is about 18.3 h tall, i have actually never ridden him, but my trainer says he is *perfect* but needs some drugs and whatever 4 shows. our 1st show is next weekend and i will be doing the jumpers to warm up for the eq...i really really really want to qualify this year and im excited that i might b able to w/ my new horse. my trainer said we should name him bruno or atlas somethin but i dunno what that means?

whatev, i gtg pick up my new chaps and pateys..just got a blue one and grey to go w/ my coats, the brown 1 goes nice w/ my brown coat, but i like to keep the black for schooling and the barn. i hate those approved hats but i think i might try to get by with just the 4 pateys and pay the fines at shows if i can. o well.
