i am here. ilove snowboarding. and the first time i did it i didn't even make it down the bunny hill before i flipped and hit my wrist, splitting all the membrane away from the bone and and living in an ace bandage for the following 2 weeks. but then i tried it again and it was great! i went 5 or 6 times this winter.

I so desperately need a nice 52" show girth and I'm depressed because they used to be selling Devocoux (!!!) girths on Ebay for like $50 new and they had some in my size but I didn't need one back then. /infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif I suppose I could just suck it up and swing for a Bevals or Edgewood girth (ouch), but that would be too easy and too painful.

Yep, I know 2 of those ponies. Miss O'Brien is owned and shown in short stirrup by Devon Walther. She actually lives in Warrington, Va., but her father, Russ, manages the Estes Park H/J Festival in July and August in Estes Park, CO., so she comes and shows her ponies there. I think Devon also has a Gayfield's pony, but I'm not sure. What is the Gayfield's pony's name you where thinking of? Color Key is being shown by A. Grace VanDyke of Edwards, CO. They show all over Colorado in the small ponies. They are so so so cute together!! /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif I'll see them all this summer, did you used to own any of them? Or how do you know them?

I had a good...but bad in a way day. My best friend/ex boyfriend got signed to Columbia Records. Seriously. I am not creative enough to make something like that up. Anyways, he has to go to Chicago this weekend, and then he's moving to Florida (Orlando area) in about a year. We were joking about how when he wins a grammy he better thank me and tell me how I changed his life...but then we remembered how I cheated on him, LOL (It's a joke between us now...yes, we are weird) and so then we were joking about that. But then on the way back from lunch he put his arms around me and started singing...and so now I'm sad because I'm gonna miss him. LOL I started crying in band...I never knew you could do verbrato on a clarinet /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Well anyways, that was my day...actually, it was alot more complicated/worse than it sounds, but that's all I will torture you with. I've done some stupid things myself. Last time FatLilPony came to my house w/ her horse, we got on him double (bareback), while he was wearing his sheet, without his halter on (I think we used something else...?) and a polo wrap for reins, and jumped him without helmets-- after I got off, FatLilPony proceeded to jump him over a 3' fence (after removing his sheet). /infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Ah, youth.

Well, he's not mine yet -- But we're pretty certin he will be...We have have to find a Mommy for Kudos (It won't be hard, hopefully by this weekend) and Gorky has to pass the vetting, and we're sure he will!!!

I rode him yesterday, and he was perfect! He was going around like the perfect pleasure horsey, and my Mom even noticed! Although, I must say, my Mother is becoming quite the Horse-Mommy! She noticed that Gorky was a little sore and which leg it was on! He was sore b/c he got stuck in the hay rack /infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif But he was fine ( I wouldn't have ridden him otherwise!) But my instructor said that he laid there, so calm and mellow like he was saying "Help me, I'm trying to be brave". Thats how is personality is...Calm and Mellow! And I already have him whipped! LoL, he follows me everywhere! Hopefully tomorrow (Lesson Day!) I will take some pictures of him!

I was in Gym, and I wore sandals and forgot shoes, so my friend and I were rolling the Volleyball around in the center circle thing. And I hit it to her, and it went by her. So some boy drop kicked it to us. Well guss what stopped the ball? MY HEAD! Oh yes, the volleyball smacked me hard as shit in the side of the face/eye (I thought my contact went bye-bye). And it hurt so bad, and for some reason I laugh when I am in pain, so I was laughing my @ss off, while tears were pouring out of my eyes. It was weird and hurt like a mother!

Spaz -- Yes, he is my first pony, and my baby! I don't know how in the hell I am going to sell him, It hurts thinking about him not being mine! But I am selling him in the barn, so I will be able to see him and ride him still. I am lucky enough to have my "horse" with me, and I am trying to spend time with him, while letting little kids ride Kudos and getting used to that idea...Having the horse there as something to fall back on really really really helps. We looked into all options for him (like leasing him out) but selling him in the barn (or to someone near) seemed the best for us (cause I need his money to buy the horse). And of course we're going to have a buy-back option in the contract. But instead of thinking about how sad it's gonna be, I think about how much he has taught me, and how much he is gonna teach another little girl! From reading some of your posts, it sounds like your in the same situation as me, so e-mail me if ya want!

HatsOff, that is the EXACT situation we are in! Well, I am finishing out the show season with him, and then selling him. My mom wants to keep him to learn on, but we aren't financially stable enough to board two horses, plus we are getting a pretty good price on him, and without that price I wouldn't be able to get another horse. He is my big baby I wuv him so much! There are a bunch of beginers at our barn that he would be perfect for (15.2hh, the biggest puppy dog EVER! He will lick you to death! Smooth, not fast, a touch on the slow side, is a good horse to move up on). He's not the best mover at all, but he places pretty good over fences. It's like a test in all the main subjects (English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Writing) to see how smart you are so your school can get more money. They tell us it has to do with our highschool class, but I don't think a test you take in middle school is really going to effect how you get into college...

OHH!~~ I went to mr. braces man today! I got 2 more bracets on the bottoms, cuz one of my teeth sinks....It's trying to go away... But I get my tops off May 25th(my birthday is May 20th)!!! I CANT wait! I I chose my retainer color.....This purpley color....It's cute /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif I can't wait till they come off! That means I can smile normally at graduation!
