Well first off, Josie and the Pussycats SUCKED. It was way cheesy and way predictable. And I have that stupid song (the only one they played the whole freakin movie) stuck in my head, and my untrusty little mouse is trying to click on the Napster button and download it. /infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif

Steve- you could make a lot of $$$ if you just let some Jr. Cliquer pretend you were hers sometime, lol.
This is a thread full of desperate woman. (it's ok though because I'm having enough fun watching Ponyperson's "proposal" and then the selling of his and Spaz's 75+ children into slavery.) Here's essay number one of many...it's on lying I think?
Ethics
Webster's 3rd New International Dictionary definition: the discipline dealing with what is good and bad or right and wrong or with moral duty and obligation <the sphere ~s for the Greeks was not distinguished from the sphere of aesthetics-Havelock Ellis>
To me this means exactly what is says: not dealing with what is good and bad or right or wrong. For example, when we were doing the fainting thing, we should of though "Hey, you know, someone COULD get hurt", or "Hey, there is a pile of bricks right here, maybe we should do this somewhere else." We still decided to do it (which we did) we should of though "Maybe we should have someone on each side of her in case she callapses." But we didn't, and someone DID get hurt. And not just a few scratches and "Hey, I'm all right, lets go swimming" hurt, but "Oh my gosh, she's bleeding and will need 20+ stitches" hurt. In other words, what we did was flat out WRONG. We should've realized that someone could get hurt very easily. If, if, and if. If we did alot of things, we would have a perfect life. If I had only studied, I might of gotten a better grade. If I had only not let the gate open, Fluffy wouldn't of run away. In other words, what is done is done, and we can't change the past. If I COULD change the past, I would do alot of things. But the thing is, I can't. No one can. So what is done is done, just like I said.
Ethics, also noted as moral philosophy, is the study of human actions in respect of being right or wrong. In my case, right would of been to just not bother with the whole fainting thing and say, "Hey guys, someone could get hurt." And wrong would be, well, exactly what we did. The World Book Encyclopedia states: "One of our humanity's special traits is to ask thoughtful questions about what we should or should not do. We do not have to ask about breathing and digesting (involuntary actions), but we do have to ask whether we take a bribe or how we should treat our children. Some actions are determined for us, but fall within our moral choice." I do not know alot about ethics, but this seems to be a good description of it for me. Our whole life is full of questions. Like "Should we take the money over to Suzy's house today or tomorrow?" Or "Should I walk FuFu this week or next week". All questions will lead to other questions. I like to think of life like a maze. If I take this corner (or answer this question like this) what other path will it lead me to (or what other situations will come up along the way)? It's like on of those books, "If you want to spend the night on the island, turn to page 15, If you want to continue building through the night, turn to page 33". I don't know if your following me, but if you could just barely realize what I'm getting at, you will understand.
Well, I guess what I am trying to get at is, what we did that day was wrong. We shouldn't of done the fainting trick, and we should of told the adults right of the spot. If we had told the adults right away, instead of making up something, we would be in alot less trouble and I probably wouldn't be writing this paper. But what is done is done, and I will just have to live with the consequences. Believe me, this accident has made me alot more aware of my choices.

ErinB--what is this about me not posting here much! I have a life, darlin' outside this little gray box I lovingly call the "Computer of Death." [This machine isn't too reliable. I prefer the downstairs one, but well, it's cold in the basement] I had to go out with my real live friends, plus Uncle Bill took me shopping today at the huge local tack shop sale........Here's the loot so far: GP jacket--greeny-browny-olive with an orage stripe in the windowpane plaid, orange shiny Pale Horse shirt that matches the coat stripe EXACTLY, various different fun shampoos and grooming stuff--ya know, to make them all pretty /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif --new girth, boot rubbers--spaz and ponyperson don't take that the wrong way!--hm, and other stuff.....plus we are gonig for the big drawings tomorrow. 'K, I think everyone's left so maybe I'll go to sleep at a decent hour tonight. /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Hehe I'm listening to the funniest song on Napster. It's almost country which I hate with a passion, but this one is so funny and I can relate...
I get up on Sundays about 8:15 just to get the paper that I never read, cause I know she'll be there barely in her robe, sittin on her front porch painting on her toes. Her husband's always on the road... Mrs. Steven Rudy you don't know what you do to me, every night I dream one day of being with you. And Mrs. Steven Rudy, you're the neighborhood beauty but that wedding ring's as ugly as your husband is to you. /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Hehehe...
Sometimes Mrs. Rudy calls cryin late at night, cause her and Mr. Ugly have had another fight. We talk awhile, I hear her smile, and when she says thank you I tell her that she's welcome, like any friend would do. I only wish she knew...
Imagination, infatuation, I'm what she deserves, I wonder if she thinks about me the way I think about her.
And Mrs. Steven Rudy you're the neighborhood beauty, but that wedding ring's as ugly to me as your husband is to you.
Sorry but I really like that song for some reason... sigh I can relate LOL. You kind of have to hear it though.......

Sigh... on top of the fact that I STILL haven't finished my algrebra homework, one of my horses is lame in her right front and now she's pulling a shoe on her left front; it's halfway off and knowing my farrier she won't get it taken care of until tomorrow or later so she'll be living in a bubble for awhile since the shoe can't be pulled off.
My dad is doing yet ANOTHER one of his projects that requires the water at the barn to be turned off (3rd time in less than 2 months... I just love keeping my horses at home. /infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif ) So of course I find this out as I've got my horse in the washrack all muddy with my bath stuff set out.
And this shouldn't even be here, but while I'm at it I'll just say that my dad's job is one big dumb@$$ and won't give him all of his commissions for this year, which is a long story but it's another thing I'm upset about. /infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif
And on top of that, I have no friends to call LOL except for FatLilPony who is at the barn and is probably quite sick of my venting to her for the past year. /infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

i'm back from the mall! i got my shoes; they are grey and yellow dawls and they look a little like the etnies (which everyone has;that is why i never got those). they had one pair left in the store and they were in my size! i really needed new shoes; i tend to wear one pair every day until i wear them out. speaking of shoes, everyone at my school (all the preps) have these sbicca sandals. is that just a trend here or does anyone wherever you ppl live have those? (i got them last year and was the only person who had them and then this year everyone has them and i quit wearing mine because of that).
i am shivering; it is raining and my house is cold and i just finished eating a big double-scoop waffle cone, mint-chocolate-chip and strawberry cheesecake. i have been overdosing on sugar lately, but i'm not going to eat any more this evening. (yeah, right) even at the chinese restaurant where we are going for dinner. i like putting sugar in my tea. but i won't, because its not healthy.

in an effort to make this thread longer, and also expose you all to the world's greatest band, here are some lyrics to some goody songs! /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
COMBAT CHUCK:
A real life Superhero, He's got the Holy Ghost,
he's either praising Jesus, or he's making toast.
Ain't got no superpowers, ain't got not giant brain,
but he would try and help you, if he heard you call
his name. There's some kids there in some trouble,
need a Pepsi on the double. Then he shouts, not so
quiet, " Would you like a regular or diet?" Found
a campsite for some kids, by the stage is what he
did. People ask why he's so nice, he wants to be
like Jesus Christ.
Whenver you're in trouble, whenver you're in need,
Combat Chuck will help you, he nearly runs with
with speed. He's on the ball to save the masses,
got some think old horned-rimmed glasses. His head
is bald, he shaved it shiny. Kicks the devil in his
hiney. People ask why he's so nice, he wants to be
like Jesus Christ.

Handbook for the sellout:
You found a way to draw a line,
between the world and you.
Faking your idenity it's true. Did
you think the word "alternative",
was only meant for the likes of
you? Do you think that they're too
cool now? Being popular is lame.
You're the one who made them popular
,all their songs are still the same.
You found them first, it made you
stand apart, you know? But then
everyone jumped on the same
bandwagon, making you an average
Joe, A lemming for the mediocre,
you were just a plain old joker
status quo. Blame it on
the band now. If you pick them do
they bleed? What's the point in
playing what they want, if you
won't let them succed?
Do you remember where we all
came from? Do you remember
what it's all about? When you
made a point to be objective,
before you started writing
Handbook for the Sellout?
You sunk your worth in being
different, just to be like your own
kind. You traded in objectiveness,
for the underground you follow
blind.
Put your shoes on Betsy, tonight, we're goin tap dancin'! Seriously...

Where is Micah
It's five minutes from the show,
so where the heck did Micah
go? I don't know, he's not
around. I didn't hear him
make a sound. His
wherabouts we could not
find. I think we left him behind.
Have you seen him?
Micah, where di Micah go? Micah, should be at our show, Micah, guess that we should find him, Micah, 'cause we kind of like him here.
Poor John walsh his hear is
bleeding, " Have you seed
me?" milk jugs reading: does
this face ring a bell, is he lost
inside some well? I think we
left him at the show. I think we
left him in Toledo.
We've got a roll of duct-tape
for the next time he tries to run
away. Come on Micah, it's
time for your feeding, do you
want another senseless
beating?
Put your shoes on Betsy, tonight, we're goin tap dancin'! Seriously...

Superpowers
Bacon bits and jalapenos on my polish
hot dog. half a pound of potato chips,
and a beef jerky log. I press my face to
the window, a wrapper sticks to my shirt.
Eight people in a stinky van, a couple
more couldn't hurt. Eat some food off
the floor.
I've developed a taste for bread mold.
Ride aroudn in a van, don't take a
shower for six weeks and...
We've been given superpowers, ask us
for an autograph. We sing, we dance
we'll make you laugh, don't you want to
be like us? We've been given
superpowers, ask about our rock and roll,
our hair , our clothes, hobbies, and pets.
Does he have a girlfriend yet?
Everyone in the band can't stand me,
just because I fell off the stage,
and kind of by accident, I broke the
promoters legs. Sometimes we have a
deadline for writing our songs.
Five minutes left to write this one
la,la,la,la,la,la,la. Sleep in a sleeping
bag. Every floor looks the same as last
night. You wake up, you drive, you play a
show, and then you sleep again.
I sometimes feel like I'm holden
caulfield, sometimes Jack Keroac.
I wanted to be famous, now I want to
take it back. Don't want to rock the mic,
dont' want to meet the pope,
I just want to share with you, how we got
this peace and hope.
I once wanted to be famous,
now I want to take it bakc.
Put your shoes on Betsy, tonight, we're goin tap dancin'! Seriously...

i was just thinking, isn't it annoying when people are way too big for ponies and they still show them? like, i can understand someone wanting to keep showing a large even if they're too big for it, because ponies are so much fun, but there is this one person on our circuit and last year, at the end of 1999, she said she 'outgrew' her large (probly she meant in ability) so she was giving the large to her little sister, who was tiny on this fairly fat pony. then, the girl has this medium pony someone rode for them in the greens the year before. i swear this kids legs hung down below the pony's knees. if she was so eager to stay in the ponies, she should've gotten a large! she looked hysterical. my friends and i were all, 'yes, i outgrew my large and got a medium!'
ok, don't know why i posted that.

not accusing anyone of being too tall for a pony. and there's not certain height where it starts looking bad because all ponies are built differently. but this person, she looked really really bad on this pony.
