Can someone recommend a good stall fan? My filly is headed for the trainer's barn and his only request is that she bring her own fan.

Requirements:
NOT a box fan
round
surge protector/thermal protector thingy?
3-4 speeds

Thanks!
Pam

Home Depot has really nice circular fans - over the years they have been different brands - patton, King, etc - don't buy the smallest one, I like the one in the middle - around $50 and well worth it.

I also enjoy the breeze when cleaning the stall and they last. I do suggest wiping the dust off every month or so as it keeps them running longer

I have both the 14 & 18. The 18 moves a lot of air :)

Sams club has a really good 20' fan for $50. Comes with a wall mount and you can buy a warrenty if you want.

I have the FarmTek ValueTek fans: http://www.farmtek.com/farm/supplies/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10052&storeId=10001&langId=-1&division=FarmTek&productId=45021

The 14" one is plenty for a stall. (I bought the 18" one first and it was overkill for the run-in shed.)

They should also have the thermal switch if you want that, possibly in the greenhouse section.
