Opinions? I'm going for a ground driven model. I will also be using this to spread composted manure. Thanks

How big? I have a 25 bushel Conestoga Spreader that I pull behind a lawn tractor. It works really well, even with wet manure and hay. BTW, I think they are Amish built in southern PA.

I looked at the ABI elite as a possible replacement for my Newer Spreader but I was worried that it would be difficult to dump manure tubs into it so I stuck with the Newer Spreader.
I often spread bedding on the lawn so I need a spreader that shreds the manure. I also want the stuff dropped rather than launched

I was looking at the 50-80 bushel sizes.

The ABI Elite is 37 bu but if it isn't to small I would go with that over the JD.
I really like having the stall waste shredded and dumped out the bottom rather than flung into the air.
