I inquired about Jade a couple of months ago. I never got a reply back. But, I wanted to write because I do admire her. I am interesed in dealing with the IHF and I knew she had done well. Unfortunely, we are on opposite ends of the states.

she's three months old here - modeling for her registration photos.
She had just come back from her first show - First place weanlings, Junior Champion and Grand Champion. The judge said that was the first time she had ever put a weaner up for Grand, and that it for sure wasn't going to be the only one that this filly will earn.
I was so happy with those comments! The little monster is 9 now. Geez how time flies!

Aereal, I noticed that your baby is out of Via Satellite...
I remember seeing a 'for sale' notice for a horse named Via Satellite EONS ago at my old childhood barn in Delta. This one was a grey - I remember the ad because she was so pretty and had a cool name!

I'm not sure how much on line showing we'll be doing this year, but here's one of the one's we'll likely take. This is F.E. Angel Among Us, he'll be one this year (he's about four months in the picture). His sire is Spartan III as his dam is The Countess (probably by Lorbas but here papers if any were lost long before we got her). He's a registered CSH.
Freehold
Feb. 11, 2002, 06:42 AM
This 1999 filly is the other CSH we'll probably be showing in hand. She's by A Fine Romance out of our Percheron x Tb mare, Sweet Harmony. She's technically a half CSH but we plan to get her breeding approved so she'll be a full F0 CSH. She's really big, over 16.3hh already. Her name is F.E. Riverdance Romance. I just need to find someone with long legs to keep up with her in the ring /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
Freehold
Feb. 11, 2002, 06:49 AM
I won't be showing this filly since she's not registered. She's the first foal of F.E. Copper Top and since he only had one baby that year we've decided not to pay his licence for that year. Copper is by the Trakehner stallion Salut, and out of our CSH mare The Countess (the dam of F.E. Angel Among Us above). The filly, F.E. Satisfaction Guaranteed, is out of a Standardbred mare named War Empress (you'd never guess this mare's breeding, she's an outstanding mare with great movement and conformation and is a roan of all things!). "Ivy" as we call the filly, is stunning. She's the best mover on the farm (and that's saying a lot since we've got a few excellent movers) and is incredibly well put together. I will have her CSHA approved when she's three so she can show and have full CSHA babies. Till then she's got some growing to do /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Who is the sire of the babies?
aereal
Feb. 12, 2002, 03:19 PM
Daddy is a Dutch Warmblood, Amiro, (sadly passed away a few years ago) by G Ramiro Z out of a mare by Onyx.
He was long listed for our Canadian Olympic team for dressage at one time. At his Oldenburg stallion test (which he was the high score stallion) they put him through the jump shoot and he was clearing well over six foot oxers, they never even had to crack a whip at him he just galloped down the lines by himself!
In this years Practical stallion issue there is a blood bay stallion named Noteworthy by G Ramiro Z - Amiro had a very very similar look.

Her bloodlines are impressive Holsteiner - Grandaddy is the Famous Cathargo Z and momma is 1/2 tb with good Holsteiner on the grandmas side. I'm so lucky.... now if only she would tie!

You got it! Cathargo Sun I is her sire. She's actually being boarded at JES Stables with Joe and Edda Selinger until she's a few years older. Joe and Edda are two of the nicest people I have ever had the honour of dealing with. If anyone's interest in more of Sonny's babies, go to stgeorgesstables.com and click on breeding. What a good idea for a topic. We are all proud of our babies and delight in an opportunity to show them off. The picture I am sending is again not a competition picture. This 2 year old is going east to compete this year. I live in AZ and, well, that is just not the center piece of HB shows. The real competion is back east so I am sending this gelding to Jane Ervin to prepare and show for me. This is Nightmoves who is by my stallion Alla'Czar and o/o my A/O Jumper Nightmare who is a TB.

Rose is a TB, slated for an eventing career, we hope. (We showed her at Devon mainly just to get her out to get some experience.)
Rose's sire is Alae Rouge, a stakes winning TB who raced 7 years & retired sound. We liked his temperament, heart & soundness.
Rose's dam is Mary's Faith by the imported Irish TB, Ponchielli. (He sired only 27 foals after he was imported to this country, so Mary is one of a very few.) Mary was a good event horse--carried Ali to the Preliminary level Team Gold Medal at Pony Club National Champtionships in Kentucky in 1998 & has USCTA grading points--now retired to brood mare status.
Rose is a sweetheart with her sire's temperatment (which is good because her mom is VERY hot).

Depending on your scanner, it will ask one of two things when it scans a photos:
If it asks what the photo is being used for, choose 'web' or 'on-line'.
If it asks how big the output image should be, choose 640x800 or smaller.
If it also asks you what resolution you would like it scanned at, choose 72dpi. If it also asks you what type of file to save it as, chose .jpeg.
Your file size should be about 100k or smaller.

Darkhorse
I just wanted to tell you how much I love your stallion and all of those adorable babies of his. I always loved bay with lots of white. Here's my current bay girl (not a baby and unfortunately not an Alla Czar- she is five).

for your nice comments about my stallion. I am truely lucky to have him. He is a gift in my life. Your mare is also lovely. And she stands! I am still working hard to get mine to let me back way far enough to get me out of the picture!
Here is another pic from the show.
This is Alladin, a yearling colt.

Of course then I have to learn to use it!
What beautiful baby pictures. I love them all.
All of you that show on the line, post more pictures. We all love to see them and it gives us inspiration. The showing season is upon us and I can use all the inspiration I can get!
