btw--a few of those were Marley's, and April Magic was Rachel Reinhardt's.

------
the price of three AP exams? $243
sign up for two SATIIs? $26
binders and office supplies for study guides? $53
three horse shows through may? $ a lot
NoDoz pills to manage it all? $4.99
the sound of "pencils down" come last final exam? priceless.

We had some classic showdowns between Rule the Blues and Watership Down. One at Ox Ridge will not be forgotten. Unfortunately for Nancy and the whole RTB gang, he was awful at indoors. It was too bad, because he won so much all year, and then fell apart every year at indoors.

Tindle was definitely Allison Firestone. Has anyone said Bridget Hallman for Clyde Barrow yet? Laura Hines had (or has?) April Magic, too. Just My Bill was Lenah Ueltzen's. Northern Rollick belonged to Peter Wetherill for a while and was ridden by Elizabeth Solter in the pro divisions. Betcha By Golly was Lauren Bass'. Harbor Bay went forever, first with Kim Lloyd and then with Christina Serio.

Actually, before that, Knee Deep (if I'm thinking of the same horse, chestnut with mega chrome) was originally in Ontario... I believe a girl named Melissa Fernyhough rode him? Yes, I did write a letter to COTH and I did hunt BlueGrass for 3 years. He then retired to a pasture with two pony mares (we wondered if he had been a "high-ball" stallion for a while because he frequently mounted them)

Not sure about the brown mark... he had some odd markings early in life and that would have included hartwood so you're probably right.

Don't think Havens ever rode Cluseau but she might have - Smith Watkins was champion at Devon on him and owned him. Nikki also rode him, I think

Hillary S. rode Meant to Be in the junior hunters I think. Chestnut w/ a blaze?
I can't remember who had Casual Look first, but Lacey Lynne Jernigan had him a while ago (Pat Vogtle rode him in the pro divisions right?) and I think someone at Pam Baker's has him now...Honey Johnson?

Susan Linton did Meant to Be in the juniors while he did the regulars (if I remember correctly), and Hilary did him in the junior jumpers, then Jenny.

You're right about Lacy and Casual Look. Does anyone remember the name of her other one?

Awesome went from the Lindners to Neely Bates for one show season and then went to Weatherly. Neely also had All Mine (listed previously on this thread), Force the Bid and Charade. I know this because I boarded at their barn when she had all these horses and got to hack them on occasion.

Lion in Winter was ridden at one point by Molly Ashe, I believe when she was riding with Beacon Hill. The others I knew have already been answered. I guess I'm a day late and a dollar short!

Later That Night- didn't Trilani (sp?) farms own in begining?

Infiniti- Elise Haas?

High Hearts- Peekaboo! So funny that you know Talya Hord first had her! The Hords are very good family friends (not from horses though)! They sold her for peanuts to some girl whose name escapes me who rode with Jack, and Liza catch rode it. Good spotting on Jack Towell's part, sucked for the Hords!

Gotham City was sold by Paige to Amanda Baird in, I think, '93. Amanda renamed him Patriot to start in children's and move up to juniors, but they didn't get along very well.

Legend Has It- whoever said someone else besides Chad Keenum rode him, no one else has showed him competitively outside of Rolling Acres. And Mary Lisa never did him in the juniors... she did him in the A/O's before she became a professional, and also the greens and the workings. Susie Fried was first junior to ride him and then Chad. Kirsten Pollin (an a/o) now owns.

rockstar- know Talya had Rita because back in the day when Talya had Rita we rode with the same trainer before Talya moved to Debbie's. I remember riding Rita a few times, she was actually the first horse I rode when I was still just a pony kid. Talya also is a Bryn Mawr girl, and is best friends with my neighbor accross the street. Got to love the fishbowl of baltimore private school! My older sis and Talya are the same age. When we lived in Mt.Washington in early 80's, they became best friends and my parents were very tight with the Hords. We then moved up north when they had Rita, so I never knew the horse then. Then we moved BACK down, and the Hords were AWESOME to my mom, who had just gone through a very painful divorce with my dad. LOVE them... very, very nice, good people. Ever So Clever- Lacy Lynn Jernigan

Anyone know the name of Kerri Kampsen's first junior hunter? He was a really fancy small nicknamed "Spot". She sold him half way through the summer in 1994 or 1995. I can't remember his show name but I think it had the work "One" in it.

Keri was first junior rider on Casual Look (He came from David Q Wright's barn originally)

Anyone want to be brave and try to name ALL of Marley, Allison, Nikki S. or Havens' junior hunters. Good luck!

Casual Look was definitely at David Wright's barn although Tony might have had him before that? I think Keri had him in one of his first two years as green though... The only reason I remember this is because I took some lessons with David when I was in college and he told me about the horse. He was a difficult ride but always a good jumper.

David had a knack for finding great horses... if you remember he also found Pappy Clifford and one other who's name escapes me right now

Spindrifter-Emily Epstein...I knew Spindrifter way back when. A dear friend of mine rode her when we were juniors.

I too knew High Hearts when she was Raja's Rita. No one in my family believes me when I tell them we used to know High Hearts.
