I'm considering one of these. Have an old treadmill that needs to be retired. Does anyone have the Bowflex TC, and if so do you like it? Or any other recommendations for something other than a regular treadmill?

Apologies if you've already checked for online reviews, but if not, maybe these will be helpful?

I did, and seems that they break down a lot, but wondered if they have improved.

My mom has had one for the past 4 or 5 years or so? I would say it gets used 3 to 4 times a week and she hasn't had any significant problems. Although, if the reputation is that they break down, that might be more likely than my sample size of one.

I researched them several months back. The "bottom line" was that when they work they work well, but have a lot of maintenance issues. Service was also rather spotty when a failure occured.

That's what worries me. So any other suggestions for a different brand/eliptical, stair climber, treadmill.

We're just putting up the TC at our call center....interested to hear reviews.

IconFitness has an elliptical machine that has gotten pretty good reviews, but I personally prefer the gym-grade PreCor as an elliptical.

From what I understand from DH, they are returned (or attempted to return) a lot. They are very expensive to ship back.
