View Full Version : storing bracelets

I love wearing chunky bracelets with most of my work outfits, but I need ideas about how to display and store them! I have seen one person use a freestanding towel bar, which is a good iea, if I could find one! I like antique / primitive styles, so was wondering about making one out of a broomhandle-shaped piece of driftwood.
(for anyone looking for necklace ideas, I have a wooden hay rake - the kind with short teeth - and it works great! :) http://koduturg.com/Reha.jpg
Any other ideas?

I too, love primitives. How about some antique yarn spools to hold your bracelets? Like these:

You could take the end off one side of a larger one if the bracelets don't fit over it.

Or a single antique candle mold might also serve the purpose,

Oh, and I love your antique rake idea for necklaces.

OMG Claddagh! I have some sitting in an antique basket! Perfick :)!
I had seen the rake being used for scarves, and when a previous BO moved I bought hers along with some other antique bits and bobs....you can put several necklaces on each post, and accessorize at a glance! :) One piece of advice - anchor it to something because otherwise you'll have jewellery everywhere!

I found a beautiful crystal vase at an antique shop with a similar shape to this

I can store 7-15 bracelets on the neck of the vase depending on how thick are my bracelets
