View Full Version : Barn in Florida selling nice show horses

Not asking for recommendations - but I have this fuzzy recollection that there was someone big in the jumper world, a grand prix rider, who specialized in bringing in young horses from Europe and matching them up in the US for not ridiculous prices. And doing a lot of them, not just one or two or three. I thought I even remembered an article about this barn someplace.

Now, before you laugh, I know that describes almost every barn in Florida. But I know I remember this website, listed prices for horses, and it was a pretty prominent name, and for the LIFE of me I can't remember who it was.

I'm sorry - I know that sounds like a really dumb question, but I'm hoping someone will remember the same brain wave I had and help me out. Part of me wants to say Kent Farrington, but I don't think that's right.

Never mind - I think I figured it out - it's Derek Peterson. Sorry!

My current horse came from Derek - and so will my next one, when the time comes. He's fantastic to deal with.
