I have had a few requests for conformation pictures of Oliver Twist. I thought it best to make a thread instead of PMing everyone individually.

Anyway here they are... you can tell me what you think. I know he is a little odd looking. He is a little dirty.

Not really sure what you are saying? Do you mean "pretty is as pretty does"? I totally get he isn't the prettiest thing, but he is cute and good at his job.

My first reaction was that he's very pretty. :D
I can easily picture him braided and turned out for a show.
*I think Alterhorse was responding to the part of your post about him being "a little odd looking" and saying that doesn't matter if he does his job well. The way it was phrased threw me a bit, too, but I think it was meant in a good way.

Yes that does make sense now...Thank you... I think he looks adorable with his little jumper braids in, but I am slightly bias!

I don't understand what this is about. I must say, as one that appreciates confirmation, this pony makes me shiver . Also I have seen him move and his way of going is very odd . But I have also seen this pony jump and win!!!! Actually beat my pony at NAL 2010. He has a heart of gold and can jump the moon . A real special fellow . He is lucky that he wasn't dismissed because of his strange breeding and odd way of going. Ps If he doesn't have a rider for this year my daughter would love the chance..

I'm used to hearing the idiom using a "what", but now that you mention it "as" does seem more concise.

It's meant to express that there is more to any individual then appearance alone, as personality and deeds are also a part of what one considers as attractive.

Snowman was not much to look at either. He worked out well for the DeLeyers. :D :D
