He used to post here as bkjumper.

He contacted me through here, and I worked with him 1 time in trying to sell a horse at a show, didn't go through but it was a tough horse to sell and an otherwise uneventful experience.

Well thank you for the response. I just couldn't find much about him online and wanted some first hand experience. I've gotten both positive and negative responses, which I guess is typical with anybody. Knew I could count on COTH for info.

I don't know much personally about Mr. Leland. I can tell you that within the last 6 months I have judged his students. They always appeared to be well prepared, well mounted, have a plan, and enjoy their competition. Is there any thing else to ask? I am sure that he is not overcharging for the area, or he would not show up at the horse show with so many happy customers, Just saying. If you plan to go to Devon? I am sure that you will find a place that makes you feel more appropriate. Other than that? Fella appears to give good product and instruction Suggest you check it out :-)

Thanks CM. I'm not looking for instruction but he inquired about a horse of mine that I only want to go to a fabulous home:)
