Can't get over this and had to share...

I was browsing my local Kijiji and stumbled upon these gems. These people apparently think everyone looking at their ads are dumber than bricks (I won't make any assumptions about their intellect - feel free to do that on your own).

Ad # 1:

"WB/TB gelding, great natural mover with a huge stride and smooth canter. A dressage dream."

Here (http://imgc.classistatic.com/cps/kjc/120304/829r1/3245b44_20.jpeg) is the lovely guy.

And here (http://imgc.classistatic.com/cps/kjc/120303/305r1/59794i0_20.jpeg) in the same ad, is that above horse under saddle.

Here (http://i43.tinypic.com/1zdsl94.jpg) is another one. Same horse, really.

Ad # 2:

"TB cross mare, would excel in dressage. She is impressive."

Here's (http://i39.tinypic.com/687q86.jpg) the mare.

And here (http://i44.tinypic.com/2qlqx.jpg).

And here (http://i44.tinypic.com/33p8ra8.jpg).

*sigh* I wonder whose images they're using to try and sell their horses?

Ummm, hmm. Hey!! *i* want a horse with changing markings! They could change to match my outfits, or the seasons.... Or id know what kind of mood horsey would be in that day based on white markings.
*dammit, Dobbins only has one rear sock, looks like he won't have his changes today...' 'Oh, matching stockings! Someone wants to jump!'

Yes - apparently if you make a picture black and white, it's impossible to tell that it's a totally different horse.

I had a bit of success though... I called her out and she took all but one fake picture down! And got the sense to edit the one fake picture and accompanying "actual" horse so it's not *quite* as easy to tell it's not the same horse.

Some people's children, I tell ya.

That would definitely make life a lot easier wouldn't it?

I do wonder about some of the ad's on Kijiji. I am currently selling my mare and looking to purchase and I often use Kijiji.

This is appalling. The purchasor is going to notice when they come see the horse.... what is the point in wasting your own and their time.

^ I did find my last competition horse (well, he's my current horse, he's the last one I BOUGHT ) on kijiji in Alberta.

I did wade through reams of crap on Kijiji, and I learned that usually the short ads with links to a YouTube video, a NAME AND PHONE NUMBER and one or two reasonable photos were legit.

I wasn't keen on the ones that were long and rambly "horse site" types with too much text and enormous picture files. I also ALWAYS check "see seller's other ads."

No phone number? I stopped following up on those, and I HATE calling numbers when I don't at least have a first name.
