My indoor arena is 80x150 feet. The footing in it is dead and I am starting over from a very hard packed base. It had a mixture of blue stone, alittle sand, with rubber on to/mixed in. Obama going to re-use the rubber, am going to purchase any updated sand this week to put down first.

My question is how thick do you think the overall thickness in inches should each "layer" be. We put in the footing our selves last time and have all of the equipment needed. I don't want to make it too thick or not supportive enough. The arena gets very heavy used with lessons and boarders every day. It also is used heavily for jumping up to 3'6". Thank you for ideas that are in other arenas!
