Why am I not in Kentucky (and not in need of a second horse)...

She is so cute! I like her build and her presence! Someone in KY snatch her up, she wants to event!

She's lovely! I really like her!

... but is it just me, or is there something going on with that front right ankle? Eeek. D:

What a pretty face. I like her nice feminine waist and big girth, lots of lung room!

I'm no conformation expert, but her cannons look really long for eventing and I'm wondering where the rest of her butt is. :)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw a big ankle!

Lost shoe or not, check out the differences in her two front feet. Yikes.

I would pass or if she was a world beater in disguise I'd spend more than her purchase price to vet the beejezus out of her at Rood & Riddle. Even then
I'd be worried about that ankle.

I -think- the big ankle is a combination of mud + poofy hair. I bet she'd clean up nice.

That RF looks a mess. The tendons look thickened both above and below the fetlock, she is otherwise lovely. Hope she finds a good home.

Not just the fetlock, but the pastern too-- poor girl

I do believe the term broke down, has an ankle applies...no amount of puffy hair and mud account for that...she is sweet hope she gets a home...

She has a really sweet face, but agreed--that ankle is .

I can't stop myself from looking at this PA guy pretty much every day:

I took the listing on this mare. She was lovely. Very sweet and quiet, with a true presence. She walked out sound, and in person she did not have huge ankles. She had NOT had farrier work recently and was sound on very uneven hooves that had not been trimmed and was missing a shoe. I would agree that it is always a good idea to get a prepurchase exam on any prospective horse, but please don't jump to conclusions from a set of photos that were taken of a horse on a very windy day on a horse that had not been cleaned up prior, and very likely had some mud on her. If anyone has any questions about her, please feel free to contact me. She was a lovely animal and I would have taken her if I had the room.

Did you let the OP know? I would hate for all of us to be wrong and her to missed an opportunity to have a lovely horse and the horse a new life.

I think she's a nice filly and she's by Not for Love http://www.pedigreequery.com/wheres+the+love (really nice sire)

She looks well balanced and athletic to me, nice feet and nice expression on her face. I can see why you like her. I think you should go check her out.

All you confirmation gurus are making me take a closer look, I definitely didn't look that closely at her legs since I am in no way looking seriously, however I have seen plenty of horses without absolutely ideal confirmation be more sound than those with 'perfect' confirmation-so if I were actually going to do something I'd say PPE would be the deciding factor :)

These conversations are cool to see what everyone pays attention to! :)

I also took the listing on this mare. She was very cute and looked very catty and athletic. She was a much slighter build than the other mare, but sticked taller than she looked. I think in the right hands she could be a lot of fun!

Swoon.

I saw this lovely horse, Sunshine Murray, this past summer at Finger Lakes. He is gorgeous in person, looked very athletic, was friendly, and was with a trainer who takes great care of her horses. I bought a horse from her last year, and she is totally straightforward about their soundness, personality, needs, etc. If any of you are seriously interested in Sunshine Murray, PM me, and I can tell you how to contact his former FL trainer so you can get her insights o nhim, up to the day he left her care and went on to Suffolk and then Penn National.

Can anyone tell me more about Where's The Love? Race record, conformation?

Looks like Where's The Love raced over 50 times! If she's still sound after that, most likely she will stay sound. I really love her proportions, I bet she is a lovely mover. And a pretty face!

Just finished speaking with Sunshine Murray's trainer and she said she sold him about a month ago. Any other CANTER cutie's at Penn National?

My friend is in love with this one:

I think he looks a little more hunter-y, but still pretty dreamy. That's great that Sunshine Murray got a home. I wish it was a CoTHer so we could all live vicariously through them.
