Where can I find fleece covers for polo style breastplates/collars/girths? Toby's breastplate is rubbing him in excellent fashion, and I apparently need to swaddle him in fleece. Also, any ideas for covering the buckles and thinner straps, as these are the biggest culprits.

Try www.pologearusa.com or you may want to stop in at tri-county feed. They've got a good supply of polo gear so they may have the fleece cover or may be able to order it for you.

You can just use two pieces from a halter fleece set. http://www.doublediamondequine.com/pageview.php?id=119

You can get one specifically made for polo breast collar here: http://www.aspreypolo.com/index.php/pony-equipment/c-22/head-collars-leads/p-70/sheepskin-breastplate-cover

:lol::lol: Thanks for the laugh!!! I don't sew. I can barely get a button back on without bleeding all over the garment.

Thanks for the suggestions, otherwise. I'm ok with spending money...I wouldn't want to embarrass my horse with my attempts at being crafty.

What about those sheepskin seatbelt saver things ? We use them on leg straps and chest straps that rub.
