I'm ripping out my hair trying to find proper XC boots to fit my WB mare. I put Woofs on her now, but would really like something with better tendon protection.

I bought a set of Tri-Zones on eBay, and they were too small, especially the fronts, so they're now out on consignment

Any suggestions??

Would porters + saratogas provide more protection than the basic neoprene brushing boots?? It seems like a bit of overkill, but she's been known to whack herself.

I tend to have the opposite problem, but:

Boogaloo come in XL
I have found the premier equine large to run pretty large

If you want to go a bit more old school, the gygax come in large http://www.vtosaddlery.com/product/BRUSHGALLOP/LAGB.htm

I also found the eskadrons ran large

I use Ecogolds on my giant mare (she's 17.3 and has tree trunks for legs haha) and they fit her great!
Eskadrons have also fit on her, not as well as Ecogolds though.
