I'll play.

My gelding is by the stallion I used to own L'evation (http://home.cfl.rr.com/huntjump/sires.html). L'evation is now a gelding and showing out in CO in the children's hunters. But he has left us with some great future hunters (my trainer owns two by him as well as his brothers).

Raven's Wing
Jan. 10, 2004, 04:46 AM
Here is Raven's sire --

http://www.jgappaloosas.com/

I am not sure which page this will pull up off the site but the stallion is Wap's Reflection so if you click on stallion roster and then on Stallion Info next to his picture. They show him doing dressage, jumping and packing a child. He is athletic and sweet.

Raven looks a lot like her Daddy only no spots. Seems she left them in her mom's uterus. I tried to send her back in after them but once she was out she wasn't going for it. In fact she hit the ground and was off figuring Mom would follow. Raven got Daddy's tush and athleticism but we need to work on the sweet part. She tends to be a bit of a big independent, pushy mare. I haven't figured out how to post her picture yet.

Gitta would never forgive me if I didn't include her, she sees herself as a covergirl. She is also by Groms and out of a beautiful Trakehner mare that I own who is half sister to Kiev's dam, Isella, both mares are by the Trakehner Stallion Fabius, whom I really like........
Gitta started her under saddle career late but here is a photo of her first month in boot camp, being a wonderful filly. She will debut this spring in the Dressage ring doing the Materiale classes and then go up the levels and be my competition horse.

I have two mares in foal to the 17.2 hand TB stallion we are standing at my farm this year, Rosillo Grande. Both mares are retired A circuit hunters and over 16.3 hands themselves, so we are very anxiously awaiting the foals!

We have 3 or 4 foals arriving in 04. 2 APHA (1 Paint/TB and 1 Paint/Palomino cross), 1 Paint/WB cross and maybe 1 other (Pregnancy status in question). The Other is a funny story. We bred this TB mare to Santa Cruz and supposedly did not take by end of season (US negative) and Cruz went home so I turned her out with my 2 YO TB colt. She had no interest in him for a while, then half heartedly let him cover her once and that was it. He has had no interest in her since and she look fatter. Being rechecked in a couple weeks. IF
she is pregnant not sure who the daddy is. If it is gray it's Cruz, if it's sabino it's my colt, if it's a plain bay have to DNA test........

I have a fabulous colt out of one of those mares by

A Fine Romance (http://www.afineromance.ca/AFineRomaceweb3.jpg)

and another Mandarin mare in foal to State of the Art. The mare (Roz) who had the AFR colt will be bred to HOF this spring.

Silverwood boys (http://silverwoodfarm.com/)

I have a fabulous filly out of my paint pony mare by this little guy and am expecting a full sibling this spring

Stonecroft Spring Cloud (http://eqsite.com/hiddenponds/spring.html)

My boy will be starting his breeding career this coming season, and his page is here:

Mandate (http://www.wolfdenfarm.org/id3.html)

I have two mares of my own that I plan to breed to him, one is a TB:

Sidney (http://www.wolfdenfarm.org/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/sidney3.jpg)

and for a little diversity:

Candy (http://www.wolfdenfarm.org/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/.pond/candyconfo.jpg.w300h230.jpg)

Sid is a 15yr old maiden who has just been retired from glorified schoolhorse status (she was the one that could take the kids to the big shows and be presentable), and Candy has proven to throw larger than the small welsh stallion, so who knows - besides, there's nothing wrong with a 1/2 TB 1/2 QH (she's registered paint, but basically QH) in my book, and if she will throw a few spots in, I'd be thrilled!
