I don't think they are selling them online.. There were a limited number available at the Royal, but I believe they quickly sold out

Morgan German is selling them on her photog website - believe it's morgangermanphotos.com - I would google it!

I think they were referring to the armbands... not the wristbands..

Ah alright - wasn't sure which ones they were, I just saw a photo saying she was selling them online, no need to be snooty about it.

Dominion Regalia had them for a day but now they are not on there any more? Maybe keep checking back there?

If they are smart, they will keep making them and get a lot of donations to Eric's charity of choice. Just make sure there is a donation attached to the sale. My daughter was lucky to get one and we got some ribbons! I intend to call Dominion Regalia tomorrow morning and ask. We'll see!! And DR' shipping charge was outrageous (more than the armband!).

As posted on Horse Junkies United today:
"For those of you desperately in search of Hickstead armbands, do not despair. I received a phone call last night from the company who makes them, confirming that they will be put on sale online very soon. They are just waiting for a few details to be confirmed, and as soon as they do, they will be widely available. We will announce it as soon as we are given the ok, and will provide you with the link to purchase them. They will produce as many as needed, so don’t worry about not getting one. Stay tuned."
I also received a reply email yesterday saying to email Dominion Regalia and give them my name, address, phone number and number of armbands required and they would place my name on the list as they are making them. Please be patient!
"In honour of the tragic passing of Hickstead, Eric Lamaze's Olympic Gold partner and the horse who stole the hearts of so many around the world. Initiated by the ring & jump crew at the Royal Horse Show, Dominion, at no charge, supplied the Ring Crew & manufactured a single special armband for Eric to wear on Wednesday night at the Royal for World Cup Day.

Did you know that Dominion Regalia Manufactured over 750 armbands in under 3 days with very little time, and we were thrilled to be asked to do this!

To place your name on a waitlist while these are being manufactured, please email me back with your Name , Address, phone number and the Quantity you require and we would be happy to keep you updated once these are ready to be shipped out again.
Due to High volume, we ask for your patience. Thank you
SHIPPING - We will be mailing these out for a small fee and will be made available online again soon.
Dominion Regalia will be also making a public announcement to the Horse world of the Charity we will be donating all the proceeds to, before we ship any further orders.

I'm confused, what e-mail address do we send our name and info to to get on the list? I can never find the posts I'm looking for on the Horse Junkies website :(

I agree that the Horse Junkies website while being a great site is terrible for finding old posts ie the press conference..
Send an email to www.dominionregalia.com (http://www.dominionregalia.com/) and state Hickstead Armbands and Karen Magerman in the subject line.

Just an update from Horse Junkies United:

"I figured a lot of people might be wondering what is happening with the sale of the Hickstead Armbands, so I have inquired and the official word is that “they’re coming…soon”. Basically, what is happening, is that the manufacturer is waiting for Eric’s confirmation of the charity selected. They must have everyone’s ok and make sure everything is kosher, that all the “i”s are dotted and the “t”s crossed, before going ahead."

Not to derail this thread but what about a Calendar or T-Shirts where like 10% goes to research on aortic ruptures in horses?

Posted today on the Royal Winter Fair FB page (and I received a call directly from Dominion Regalia as well. Mine are on the way!)

We are pleased to announce that Hickstead Armbands & Lapel ribbons are finally available to purchase online! Eric Lamaze (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Eric-Lamaze/112004952148729) has chosen his Charity as The Childrens Wish Foundation, and all proceeds will donated on his behalf. Click on this link to order yours today. We are working to fix our shipping costs online, currently they are default settings for the rest of our online site (UPS), but if you give us a call, we will send this to you by Canada Post for a lower rate. Thank you all for your patience and encouragement - and for supporting a great cause in memory of a GREAT horse. ♥ Hickstead ♥
