The main essentials for me are...
-Kerrits + Irideon winter breeches! They are awesome and are very comfy.
-Mountain horse jackets are a must have and are extremely warm.
-Mountain horse winter tall boots. They are really warm and hold up well.

Warm packs for hands and feet, after that it does not much matter, if hands and feet are warm we can deal with the rest LOL

I just got the Roeckl winter gloves and they are FANTASTIC. Soo warm and very grippy.

Lucyeq, How warm? I'm looking for that ever elusive warm and useful pair of gloves that work when it's less than 20 outside...

TOE WARMERS! I have found that if my toes are warm, then the rest of my body is usually alright. Costco has great prices on them... just bought 60 pairs from there for under $30!! I am prepared for the winter!! :D

Under Armour, wool socks, and hiding under a wool cooler with my fluffball of a horse. :D

I love the Horse Mountain jackets. They are super warm! I honestly only need a long sleeve shirt on underneath and I stay warm....plus I ride when its dark with lights, so its really chilly out. I always ride in jeans and chaps so I just use use my underarmour or hot chillies as an under liner and Im good to go!

Kerrits winter riding breeches are warm but when its really windy out you can feel it, but its really not that bad, better then my thin summer ones. Under Armour and wool socks are my best friend.
