Can someone recommend their favorite black leather hunter show gloves? I had the SSG Show gloves I've always worn, but the new ones turned my hands black to a greater degree than they have before. I usually don't use velcro, but maybe I'll have to. Thanks!

Roeckls are the best! They are a bit pricey but so worth it. I haven't been able to wear anything else since I bought my first pair awhile ago!

Roeckls def.! I wear mine everytime I ride and I've had them for about 10 months and they are still going strong!

I have a nice pair of Heritage Tackified gloves. I need the extra grip! They cost less than Roeckls, too, if that's a concern.

I love Heritage Traditionals with the chevrons--so classic and sharp-looking. They come in child's sizes, too, which is great for me as I have small hands.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. Neumann Tackfield Gloves! Best things ever made by a company who makes gloves for football that all the pro teams use. Your reins aren't going anywhere!

I love my tailored sportsman gloves, word of warning though they do fit very snug!

Another vote for Roeckls. I have my regular show gloves and I rode for the first time in their winter ones today... They're both fantastic.

Roeckls... though I tend to wear thru them

I wear through Roeckls like butter.. SSG Digitals for me. Machine washable, and if they get a hole in them within a month of purchase they'll replace them free of charge.

Honestly for me, Roeckl is the ONLY way to go. Theyre the only gloves I ride or school in. In fact I might wear them as winter gloves this year :D I LOVE THEM THAT MUCH! The 50$ is totally worth it, I do replace mine about once a year... but I ride 6 days a week 2-3 horses and hard, so the wear is expected. But they have turned me into a glove snob, and I can't settle for the common cotton gloves. I recomend roeckl gloves to anyone and everyone... even if you aren't showing, they are SO worth it.

Yep, Roeckl Chesters are the best gloves EVER. Seriously, I will never go back to anything else!!

Love Roeckls. Really like the winter stretch gloves for cold weather riding.

Roeckls are absolutely amazing. I tend to loose gloves a lot, and that's the only brand I buy now.

I have SSG and Tailored Sportsmans. I love them both, but SSG is more comfortable IMO. I agree that Tailored Sportsmans are a bit snug.

Reporting back after my trip to the tack store! After my SSG pro shows turned my hands black, I bought the SSG 10 belows from Dover (I don't think I'll be able to ride in these unless it really is 10 below), the Heritage for showing and the Roekles (sp) for home (I don't like velcro for some reason at home). So, a little something for everyone. Thanks, guys!
