I have a good idea about the trainers in the area, but I am looking to see if I missed any. I have my own barn, so I will be traveling to lessons with my horse(s). I am looking for one who has a flexible lesson schedule, as I am a teacher and work till around 4:00 everyday. If you know of any instructors in the West TN/North MS/NW Alabama area, please PM or post.
Thanks so much!

So many to choose from. David is really great, and has a nice indoor. He does travel a lot though, so I'm not sure how flexible that makes him these days. He was spread incredibly thin when I rode with him, but that was years ago when he ran multiple barns and travelled to local barns like a clinician practically. He's in Eads, fancy setup, easy to load/unload. If you have big eq. aspirations, he's your man.
Phoebe Sheets is wicked cool. Rides really well, and will give it to you straight. One of the most successful seasons of my life riding with her. She's a hunter specialist, her horses are flawless.
Those are the top of the top in the area... I can give you tons more info about a few more if you're on the fence... Or if you want to train somewhere a bit more low-key.

What sort of setup are you looking for? There are several options, just depending on what you want to do. Are you looking for just good quality instruction, maybe to show locally at the schooling shows or local A shows? Or do you want to ultimately travel to A shows and the like? Or just take lessons and enjoy your horse?

I PMd you yesterday - see that someone asked WHERE in MS - and after looking at the map, see my suggestion would be a LONG trip... Too bad... Good luck finding someone that suits your needs.

Try Southern Blues Equestrian Center in Collierville, TN. They have several students who trailer in for lessons and they have a covered ring.

Jason Schnelle is in Byhalia. Like Dave, he travells a lot and I don't think he has an indoor.
Susy Logan is in Grand Junction, TN, but I think she has her own facility.
Rose Marie Lawson is in Olive Branch. She has an indoor and a wide variety of student levels.
Blake and Allison Alder are also in Collierville and have a nice indoor.
