There's a nice article about the ANHS in the Lexington paper.

Looks like it will do well here.

Good, I am glad to see that. And WEG really did do wonders for the local area's economy; hopefully having the National there will help in some similar vein. I'm planning to go Friday night (which is college night) to watch the speed class with some barnmates. To anyone who's within a 2-3 hour drive of Lexington: do come, it is a lot of fun at KHP. If anyone wants to do anything else in that area of Kentucky, I strongly recommend Keenland, Shakertown, a couple down-town Fro-yo places, and simply driving through Versailles--the horse farms there will make you want to jump out of your car and start grazing with the mares and foals in an effort to blend in and to live in one of those luxury barns.

ETA and the bourbon trail. I don't think I need to say much more about the beauty of bourbon in Kentucky Fall (currently 5 million barrels in comparison to the 4.2 million state population--more than a barrel per person!).

That statistic explains a few things. Good to know!
