View Full Version : Horse board in NJ

I just found out I will be moving to northwest NJ in the spring. I need some suggestions for places to board my horses as well as some ideas for instructors. I have two mares that I compete in dressage and eventing. I currently pay 650 in board for each horse. This includes an indoor, outdoor and grass fields. I am looking for something similar in NJ. (I could pay a little bit more in board but not much). I currently trailer out monthly to clinic with Jan Brons for dressage and Sharon White for jumping. I don't mind trailering for lessons and I am willing to drive up to an hour for decent board. I am really worried I won't be able to find board in my price range. Any help would be appreciated!

Sending you a PM. I moved to NJ about a year ago and have visited a lot of places in the area. I can give you some suggestions on boarding barns and trainers.

40 miles from your new location and $700 for basic board. A gorgeous place, you own trainer allowed, and several BNT's teaching there.
