I really only need one answer, but since I don't even know what the thing is called Google isn't working for me.
I'm super, super new to dressage and English riding in general, and the horse I ride uses a "normal" saddle pad and a smaller one on top. It's not shaped like half-pads I've seen; one end is round, and the other is square. Laid flat I guess it's shaped like a tombstone.
My silly question is: which way does the darn thing go? Does the rounded end go on the withers? Or does the square end? I've done it before but I've been corrected too, and I have a lesson today and I don't want to get it wrong again!
