This is coming up soon, and as I was reading about the process, I have the following question:

The rules indicate that no rider may qualify more than two horses.
Does this mean two horses PER CLASS (ie 4 yr olds or 5 yr olds) or two horses TOTAL.

And if its total, and a rider is fortunate enough to have three horses, then a decision has to be made as to who doesn't show...UGH that would be tough

two per class is the limit. Not 2 per the whole competition.
There are many riders this year with multiple horses across the divisions. Alyssa Pitts, George Williams, Willy Arts, Debbie Hill, Caroline Roffman etc etc.

The final class entries are up on foxvillage if you want to see the starter lists!

Thanks for response; as the rule wasn't specific, I got to wondering, as I had seen some riders this year and in prior years with more than one horse, though I never actually counted! No more than two rides per class makes sense.

I just want to send a shoutout to former Region 9er, Amy Bock and her 5 year old, Walk the Line. They've qualified for the Young Horse Championships!
