Are endurance seat sizes measured like English or Western saddles ?

Western.

Endurance saddles are basically a western with no horn, and are typically rounded in the back of the saddle.

There are English-style endurance saddles as well, though, so it really depends on what kind of saddle you're looking at. But generally they're measured like the type of saddle they most resemble. :)

Some manufacturers in any type of saddle will have odd measurements, so it never hurts to contact the company and ask them exactly how they measure their seats. That's what I always do when I order a saddle I can't sit in first.
