We may be moving to a rather small town - Barnesville, GA - about 50-55 miles south of Atlanta. It is west of I-75. Does anyone know of a decent boarding barn anywhere near the west side of the Macon area? I'd prefer a dressage or eventing barn.

No advice on barns over there, but welcome to the area!

I'm about an hour away, PM me if you need anything.

I am a little worried that we won't find anything that I really like.

It's not that far from Newnan, which is stiff with eventing barns.
Check your GDCTA Directory for Coweta County..
Barnesville is Lamar County.

You can check the Department of Ag listings here; http://www.kellysolutions.com/ga/equine/stables/

You will probably be spoilt for choice.

I checked on Goggle and Newnan is 51 miles from Barnesville. I will try the GDCTA directory.

Looked at Google and found 2 possibilities near Barnesville - Hay Nut Horse Farm (Griffin, Ga) advertises full size dressage arena and round pen, 12x12 stalls, feed 2x/day, single turn out. Owner and trainer on site.

Gemara Farm advertises boarding & training but appears more of a trail farm (not sure what you're looking for).

Neither have a web site that I found.

Full Cry Farm is in Locust Grove, which I think is pretty close to Barnesville and is a dressage barn that also hosts regular jumping clinic. I used to board there and really loved it, great care, great turnout, good footing and Debbie Lane is a wonderful instructor.
