Huntbox Plans?

So.....hubby and I are considering building a huntbox type home on a new piece of property- I have found tons of photos of places online, but not a lot of plans or floorplans.

Anyone have any ideas?

We are thinking of just designing our own, since existing plans are limited, so does anyone have any things we should consider? Anyone living in a situation like this now??

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the term, huntboxes are basically barns with homes that run the full length/width of the barn up top.

I thought a huntbox was a term for a smaller house in the country where one's hunt horses were kept.

Don't some of the builders like Morton design & build home/stable combos in one structure. There is one near me that I'm pretty sure was Morton designed & built, but it's not small.

Look up Badger here on COTh. They are building one down south right now. An apartment/small house attached to the barn. Really sweet looking.
