View Full Version : How do you fit your figure 8?

Where do you have the side rings? How high do you have the disc? I'm not entirely sure what the right way to fit one is... Pictures would be helpful!

I don't use one, but I do know that the top part of the caveson needs to be above the protruding cheek bones. The bottom part is like a flash, so not too loose, not too tight.

I think I adjusted it so that the rings are two fingers above the bony part of his cheek (maybe three fingers). I keep the disc in the middle of the two straps. The top part is as tight as a regular cavesson (two fingers) and the bottom part is slightly looser, although I'm not sure if that's correct. My boy doesn't like it overly tight.
