All, I am possibly looking for a new situation for my gelding and I. I would ideally like a barn with a dressage focus but it is not mandatory.
I work a lot and often to not have time to ride so plentiful, daily, T/O is #1. Would prefer an indoor and access to trails - but again not a deal breaker. Quality care is of the utmost importance - I need to know my horse is in good hands when I am at work.

Suggestions appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

There's quite a few possibilities in Hunterdon and I'm sure others will list them.

I just wanted to post that as far as Warren Cty goes, not that many dressage barns around. There is however a barn in Broadway/Washington NJ, that's just in new ownership focussing on dressage. They have an indoor/outdoor and cross-country course. It's called Northern High Farm and the trainer is Grace Golden. (farrier on site too, can come in handy ;))

Good luck with your search.

We can offer high quality care and peace of mind. No indoor, but some trails and an outdoor ring. Easy commute to dressage trainers, or they can come here.

I know many people that have had bad experiences at northern high. I would reconsider that one.

I can't comment about the care/training at these places but visit and ask around, especially vets and at tack shops.

I boarded here for five years and left when I moved to Warren Cty. Many boarders have been there for a long time. Good care, indoor/outdoor and right on the Amwell Valley Trail system. There may be a waiting list. I was happy there and drove an hour each way at the time. Owner lives on premises and the workers have been there for years. Place is always being improved (indoor was made larger a few years ago), worming/vaccines are scheduled. No pressure to show or take lessons either.

I noticed the original post was from a while ago. OP are you still looking? I have a few ideas if you are.
