Henry Cecil: 'I don't like to be defeated – beat depression, get on' (http://www.independent.co.uk/news/people/profiles/henry-cecil-i-dont-like-to-be-defeated-ndash-beat-depression-get-on-2319955.html)

A rather unusual profile of Sir Henry Cecil, in anticipation of Frankel's run at Goodwood this week.

For those who might need to fill in the blanks, a healthy dose of backstory can be found here (http://www.independent.co.uk/news/this-is-a-tale-of-racing-folk-an-aristocratic-trainer-his-defiant-wife-a-ruthless-sheikh-and-a-feudal-town-in-shock-mary-braid-reports-1576140.html).

I'm glad to see him back, personally. He's always seemed an interesting character.
And what neither of those articles mentions is why he and wife #2, Natalie, divorced: she was allegedly knocking socks with Kieran Fallon.

For backstory on l'affair Fallon: 'Being unfaithful is the lowest you can stoop. I will always regret it' (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1440796/Being-unfaithful-is-the-lowest-you-can-stoop.-I-will-always-regret-it.html)

My own life is nowhere near this exotic. :D

Gah, mine either, though I could do without booze, drugs and prostitutes. Yikes.

Who needs prime-time TV when you've got Newmarket?
