I have a deep seat saddle that I had for a horse I no longer have, I know it has to be fitted for her, but I was wondering if it ok to use a deep seated saddle on a young horse just being started????

Yes - Rider can always ride in two point or ride such that most of their weight is on their thighs, not their butt.

It's not about the saddle, it's about what the rider is doing in the saddle :)

There are no "young horse" saddles - there are only saddles that fit the horse and the rider :)

Thanks
I don't sit heavy on her and she only get ridden 3 times a week for maybe 20 min.
I like riding in this saddle and wanted to make sure in wasn't going to be a bad decision to use it.

Consider that lots of young horses are started under a Western saddle!
