I know, old timers would laugh at me for this, but is there any problem with feeding a bag of grain that the mice chewed open? At most, it was only open for a few days (because I had recently moved it to on top of a hay bale.

TIA.

I wouldn't think it would be a problem. I am sure there are more then a few mice running around the grain processing facility ;)

I know human food is allowed to have a certain % of mouse material

I do it if they manage to chew a corner before I get it in the tub. Little boogers.

It doesn't sound like it was open long enough for much mouse poop to get in.
