I was thumbing thru an old Chronicle issue from 1/11 and there was a small article about a judge ruling against Kristi Nunnink's request for a summary judgement in Mia's parents lawsuit against her. Where does that case stand now? Hard to believe it's actually gone anywhere from what I know.

Parents are suing the trainer due to rider (daughter's) death at an event....you will find it if you search the threads.

IIRC, the horse's soundness was questionable, and the girl was eliminated after her final refusal, but went back to the jump, and had a rotational fall? I wondered whatever happened to that, as well. If my recollection is incorrect, someone please correct me.

Not sure which article you saw, but there are a couple of good ones here... including this one.
